Service Description
An intimate group of 6 couples meeting over three consecutive Tuesday evenings. Classes are filled with evidence based information, practical tips for partner support, and hands on demonstrations. Class One: - Labour - Interventions - Pain management - Vaginal delivery - Caesarian delivery - Initial recovery Class Two: - Postpartum recovery - Newborn tests - Keeping baby healthy - Bathing, diapering, and skincare - Babywearing (with stretchy wrap demonstrations) - Swaddling and safe sleep - Car seat best practices (with infant seats for hands on practice) Class Three: - Postpartum mood disorders - Breastfeeding - Collecting colostrum before birth - Pumping - Formula feeding - Combo feeding
Upcoming Sessions
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made 14 days prior to the class date will receive a full refund, less a $35 service fee. Cancellations made between 7-13 days before class will receive a 50% refund, less a $35 service fee. Cancellations made within 6 days of the class beginning will not receive a refund. We understand there may be extenuating circumstances toward the end of pregnancy that will prevent people from being able to attend class. If you need to cancel on short notice due to health concerns please reach out to us and we will do our best to come to a solution.
